Sergio
liked camping--even in the backyard. He liked setting up the tent and
sleeping in a sleeping bag. Once, in Val d'Aosta, he tried catching frogs
with a butterfly net. The net broke but he was happy.

Vacations
are also about food. One September back in school, his teacher asked the
students to write "How I Spent My Summer Vacation". And Sergio
wrote his entire theme about the Penne all'Arrabiata he'd eaten
at Ivrea.
