*Roxanne's Red Light *

Part 3

The rain drizzled lightly over the cemetery, Xander set down a red rose over Roxanne's grave. He kneeled down and ran his fingers through the thick grass. He held back a sob; it had been 2 agonizing years watching Roxanne slowly slip away from his grasp. After Xander told Roxanne of her deadly diagnoses, he immediately shut down Vatalini's Inn, the pure lust whore house came crashing down he watched as the demolished men tore everything apart. That house had ruined his and Roxanne's life.

"Hey baby how have you been?" Xander somberly asked her grave not expecting a response. "Things have been looking good, I have almost finished getting my master's I have only a few more credits to go." The wind gusted and the trees branches crackled with the force. "Oh and Mia and AJ have had a beautiful baby girl just last week, you remember there wedding don't you?" After AJ realized he didn't catch anything, he soon immediately proposed to Mia. She never knew the whole truth but some of it.

"They named their little girl Maria Roxanna McLean, she looks just like her father." Xander and AJ got close while Roxanne was losing her battle. AJ tried to be there when Xander couldn't handle it but with his career it was hard but he managed. "I know what you're thinking have I met anyone? Well no I haven't and I don't intend to. You were my life and I will not let any other women take your place." He heard the grumble of thunder and smiled. "I still don't care," He chuckled lightly. He looked at his watch he had to go. "Well Roxy tonight is Maria's christening and I don't want to be late. I love you and I will be back soon." He picked up the rose and kissed and laid it down again. Xander stood up and started walking, before he knew it he bumped into a woman who fell.

"Oh I'm so sorry miss." Xander reached down to pick her up. When she stood up she straightened out her dress and looked up at him. Xander held a breath. She had long black hair and deep brown eyes. "Roxy?" He asked.

"Um no I'm sorry my name is Amanda, I think you have me confused." She replied simply. Xander smiled he could see the sun peering through the clouds. She started to turn away.

"Wait!" Xander called out, and ran up to her. "I am going to a christening but afterwards I'm free I know this is forward but would you like to join me?" Amanda looked startled, but then a beautiful smile spread across her face.

"I would love too," Xander lent out his arm and escorted Amanda to the church. He could feel Roxanne smiling down upon him. The clouds started to vanish and the sun was shining brightly, Roxanne sighed from the heavens she loved when her romance stories came true…
