Chapter 11

Mouse and AJ arrived at the mall and AJ through on a had and grabbed a jacket to cover
his tattoos.

“We’re lucky it’s a weekday, not that many people are here.”

“Yeah that’s all I need, to get mobbed.”

AJ and Mouse hung out at the mall for hours. They shopped and talked and found out that
they have alot in common.

“I think the mall is going to close soon.” said AJ looking at his watch.

“What time is it?”

“Quarter to nine.”

“Really, we’ve been in the mall for that long?”

“Yeah, I guess we just got carried away shopping.” AJ said holding up his bags and
laughing.

“Yeah, I guess.” agreed Mouse holding up her bags.

They headed to the car and took off to Nick’s house. When they arrived at Nick’s house
all the lights were off.

“I wonder where they could be?” asked Mouse.

“I don’t know, let’s go see.” AJ took out the keys Nick let him borrow and opened the
door, when all the sudden he heard a voice.

“YEAH! I won, that’s 7 times in a row.” Stacy said jumping up and down.

“You cheated!” screamed Nick.

“No I didn’t I beat you fair and square, you’re just a sore loser.”

“Fine, I’ll let you have that one, but I want a rematch.”

AJ cleared his throat.

“Oh, hey AJ, I didn’t see you there.” said Stacy.

“Yeah, I see, you were to busy kicking Nick’s ass.”

“Hey!” Nick said. “She just got lucky.”

“Why can’t you admit that you just lost?” Stacy said laughing.

“Cause he’s a stubborn little baby.” AJ said.

“No, I’m not.” Nick defended himself.

“Yes, you are.” AJ answered back.

“No, I’m not!” yelled Nick.

“Yes, you are!” AJ yelled back.

“Alright children, calm down before I put you in time out.” Mouse said laughing trying to
break them up.

“Has anyone eaten?” asked Stacy.

“No.” came various replies from everyone.

“You’re not going to cook again Stacy, you’re on vacation.”

“I don’t mind.”

“I know, why don’t we go out, I know this little fancy Italian restaurant we could go to.”
Suggested AJ.

“Sounds fine to me, it that OK?” asked Nick looking over at Mouse and Stacy.

“Yeah.” answered the girls at the same time.

“Do you girls have something nice to wear?” asked AJ.

“I think we can find something.” answered Stacy.

“Is half and hour enough time?” asked Nick knowing it wasn’t going to be enough time.

“Give us 45 minutes.” Mouse and Stacy answered.

“Forty-Five minutes it is then.” AJ said.
