Chapter Two

“Sure why not., but I need to ask my parents”

“Great! I’ll call back tomorrow, I hope you can come!” Nick answered 
excitedly, he couldn’t wait to see his friend again.

“OK, well I gotta go cause my friends are giving me funny looks.”
	
“Yeah I gotta go too, Happy Birthday Stacy.” 

“Bye Nick, talk to ya later!” 

“So who was that, is he cute?” Cristina inquired

“Oh, that was just Nick.”

“What did he say?” asked Laurel.

“He called to say happy birthday and...” Stacy paused momentary.

“And what?” Lisa insisted.

“He wanted me to visit him over spring break.”

“What?” asked the girls all at the same time.

“He wants me to visit him for one week and I get to bring a friend.”

“Well we all know who thats going to be.” Kristina said looking over at
Mouse.

“This could be your chance to meet AJ.” Lisa looked at Mouse and gave her
a smirk.

“Why did he wait so long to ask you?” asked Laurel.

“I dunno, he said he was busy with the group and everything.” Stacy
thought to herself asking herself why he had never asked and all of the
sudden now he finally invited her.  She pushed away the thought so she
could continue with her party.  “Anyways enough about Nick, do ya gals
wanna have cake now?”

“Sure.” All the girls said at the same time.

The girls sung happy birthday to Stacy and ate the whole cake by
themselves.

“My brothers wanted me to save them a piece, Oh well.”  All the girls
laughed.

“Tomorrow we are going shopping.” Cristina announced.

“Why?” asked Stacy with a puzzled look.

“Cause if you are going to meet Nick you have to look nice.”

“Oh I guess.”

“What do you mean I guess, we ARE going shopping and you can get a
cute little bathing suit, he will fall head over heals for you!” Cristina didn’t
like the Backstreet Boys as much as Nsync but she figured she would help
her friend out anyways.

“Sure whatever, me and Nick are just friends.” Stacy said trying to get the
subject off of Nick.  “Well anyways what do ya say we get are movie fest
started?”  “What movie do ya wanna see first?”

“The Blair Witch.” answered Mouse and all the girls agreed.

The girls got changed to their pjs and set up the living room to watch
movies.

All Stacy could think about was meeting Nick, she has been a fan since the
beginning.  She could remember when Nick told her about this group he
was going to be in but she never thought it would become so big. She
followed the Backstreet Boys had all the Cds and Video tapes and she even
had a few posters in her room.  Nick always used to sing and was very good
at it.

“Earth to Stacy, come in Stacy.”  Lisa brought Stacy back from her
thoughts.  “The movie is about to start.”

“Oh, ok.”  Stacy snapped out of it and watched the movie.

A little while into the movie her thoughts drifted back to Nick.  The last
time she saw Nick they were in their tree house talking about Stacy moving
away.

***Flashback***

“I can’t believe you are moving away.”

“I know I’m going to miss you alot, and I’m not going to have any friends.”

“You’ll make alot of new friends and we can still talk on the phone.”

“I know but it won’t be the same.”

“I know who else can am I going to play Nintendo with.”

“You and your Nintendo Nick, I’m going to miss playing with you.”

***End of Flash back***

“We looked much different too, Nick was shorter and thinner, but one thing
I will never forget are his blue eyes.  I looked different to, for one thing I
was chubbier.  He probably still thinks I’m chubby.  After I moved away I
started dancing allot more and I lost the weight.” Stacy thought to herself. 
“I can’t wait to see him again,”  but at the same time she was scared and
nervous.  She knew what he looked like cause his face was plastered on
millions of  teeny bopper magazines.  She had to admit that he grew up
looking really nice.  And she thought he looked even cuter after he cut his
hair even shorter.  Stacy pushed her thoughts of Nick away and continued
watching the movie.

The girls finally fell asleep around 2:30 in the morning after finishing all the movies.
