I (Nicky) sat my lazy ass down, and wrote a review. Its my demented thoughts on "Millennium", Backstreet`s new cd. Don't worry, I LOVE THE CD...but Lance is from Mississippi so I thought I'd tell you what I didn't like and did like at the same time.

1) LARGER THAN LIFE

Computer music always works good in pop music, dontcha think? BSB have a lot of songs with them laughin on it don't they? I love this song. A song to us.....how sweet...and Howie doesn't sing. WOO-HOO!!! I love the fact that Brian sings"wishing I can thank you in a different way..." Now that's what I'm talkin bout!! I can't wait to see them sing this live. How many spasms will AJ have during this song? Damn..I can just see it. I think the long I-E I-E I-E part was so damn funny! This song gave me goosebumps. Its phat to death!

2)I WANT IT THAT WAY

Ok..great song, just not very well, thought thru,lyric wise. If you think about it "that we...are two worlds apart....can't reach to your heart, when you say...." just makes no DAMN sense! I think the song is about a relationship and how the guy feels about his chick, but things aren't doin so good, so he is tellin her how things SHOULD be. He wants to know if she loves him the same way, even though its too late.I just think they could have used BETTER lyrics to back up that situation.Another thing, all they do is sing the same damn thing over and over again. I mean, the first time I heard it, I knew all the words. I think the cool shit they do with the music and their voices is awesome and really makes up for it. I doubt anyone else could have pulled this song off. Kevin sings!!!!! Thats a miracle!! Howie sings....we all need to make sacrafices I think....

3)SHOW ME THE MEANING

I like this song, but its so sad. I cried like a 4 year old when I first heard this song. The song is about death, or just a loss of someone that a person really loved. After the break up, the guy is so heartbroken he wants everyone to know how he feels, and he wants answers to how he is feeling.The lyrics are nice..I don't understand a lot of the lyrics and how feeling the sun relates to loneleness. But, KEVIN SINGS...and its a great song. I love the beat to it. Howie`s part is gay....."surrender your heart, body and soul...." no no...never!! I like the little spanish sounds in it. Its a great song.

4) ITS GOTTA BE YOU

Best fuckin song ever!!! I love it!!!! I think its bout sex ...."my hungry heart must me fed". Its about a guy who is so in love and wants his girl friend right there and then!! He is ready to GIVE IT TO HER and hes goin crazy from passion and hes never felt the way he feels before. He wants her to be his, and only his and he is just so fuckin happy to be with her! (I think I explained that right...) Nick's part is so cool. I do it when I'm drivin down the road. and I feel cool. "BABY, ITS THE WAY YOU MAKE ME, KINDA GET ME GO CRAZY" Another fav part is when Brian sings "CANT SEE THE WORLD I'M WALKIN THRU...CUZ BABY I SEE ONLY YOU"I feel that way about Brian, too. (: This song just makes me so happy when I blast it after a long day of school. The "woo woo" part is awesome. If anyone else sang that, I'd make fun of 'em, but they are the BSB, so I'll just go on.

5)I NEED YOU TONIGHT

I like it. I mean, I've heard it 50 million times before Millennium, but it rules. I like it better the way he used to sing it, HEAVEN IN YOUR EYES....but its still pretty. Its about a relationship and I think the relationship isn't doin so good, so the guy realizes he`s goin to loose the girl he loves, and so he tells her sweetly that he needs her in his life and that even though maybe the relationship should be cancelled, he can't live without her. I like when he goes "its gotta be this..its gotta be this...". So cool. Its really sweet, and if a guy sang it to me....I'd stay with him too. Unless he cheated on me with Britney Spears. Thats just ghetto trash.

6)DONT WANT YOU BACK

I love the part when they go "YOU SAW MY PICTURE ON A BACKSTREETS BACK....ALRIGHT!" Just so New Kids. The song is about a Backstreet boy. Not sure which one, but its about him and finding this girl that he loved, but he realized that she was only with him cuz he was a BSB. He found out, and now he is pissed! So, he wrote a song bout it. He hates her now, and wants her to know BADLY. This song is good. I think it makes me think about AJ tied to a wall, sweating, and tryin to get loose in a sexy manner.....but..huh..thats just me. I can see me and Brian getting hot and heavy during this song too. On a water bed....yummy. Nuthin to do with the song, but the music is so sexxxxy.

7)DONT WANT TO LOOSE YOU NOW

This is my favorite song on the album. It makes you think about all the guys in this world who don't know what the hell they have, or what they do to make us girls so pissed off sometimes. Its what guys really feel, but don't know how to say. They love you, but don't know what they had til they fuck up. Brian`s part is my favorite part. He sounds so angelic. The lyrics are so well written, and its a beautiful. Doesnt matter how many times you hear it, you get choked up listenin to it. At least, I do.

8)ILL BE THE ONE

Its a song that makes you think. Its about a girl that was lonely til she met the guy that helped her. He loves her, and wants her to know. Nick`s part "my fear is gone, and I want to, take you from darkness to light" is awesome. He can take me from darkness to light. This song is just kick ass.

9)BACK TO YOUR HEART

Kevin knows how to write a song, guys!! The lyrics are slammin. Its about a guy thats telling a girl that he doesn't need her to live, but doesnt want too. He lost her, but wishes he knew how to make her happy. So he asks her how he can make it up to her. Its a sweet song. Brians part, "I dont know how it got so crazy, but ill do anything to set things right. Cuz your love is sooo amazing" made me just burst out in tears when I first heard it. I love his voice. So much meaning, so much love in his voice. Oh jeez!! He is an angel. Howie doesn't sing again....!!!

10)SPANISH EYES

About a relationship....again. They love each other, but there is so much they don't know. When they look at each other, they know it doesn't matter, as long as they are together. The words are pretty, but Howie sings in the very beginning. How am I to like that?!! Tell me?!!

11)NO ONE ELSE COMES CLOSE

I love this song. Its kinda like LAY DOWN BESIDE ME with a twist. The guy realizes his chick is havin doubts about his feelings, so he lets her know he loves no one else but her, and will not ever look at another chick the same way. "When I wake up to...the touch of your head on my shoulder..." Nick, I hope your not tellin us you and Mandy are doin it. Its a pretty song. Their voices again make it better. No one else could have made this song as nice.

12)PERFECT FAN

Brian`s song. Its about,DUH.....his mom and how much he loves her and thanks her for raising him to be what he is. Howie sings a lot on the song. But, I try to ignore that, due to the fact my BSB is the writter of this song. Its a beautiful song, and I know about what Brian`s mom went thru during his heart surgeries, and stuff growing up. I read about it, and I cried because Its not good to see your son goin thru that stuff. Its a great song, and I'm sure Brian is very proud of it. One question...Nick isnt in the song? Where`d he go??? I love when Brian says I LOVE U MOM at the end of the song. So sweeet.
