And the bird
Prays
To
The air
By the grace of
Its wings-
The moth
To the light
In annihilation by the flame.
The ocean
Worships
The
Moon
Through the rise and fall
Of her body-
And the earth praises
The sun
In circular devotion.
The wind communes
To endless plaines
By the ceasless symphony
Of its howl-
The whisper tells its
Sweetest mysteries
In a passioned lovers
Breath.
And I-
I pray to what lies
Just beyond life's thinnest veil,
Through the temples
Found
Within
Your
Eyes.
Storm Winds

Storm winds rise
Gently lifting
Wind sings
In the trees
Thunder rolls
Loudly crashing
Wind howls
Hearts freeze
Rain falls
Smashing, splashing,
Bright lightning
O'er the eaves
Clouds dark
Fiercely rolling
Rolling high
And far away...
Wind sighs,
Slowly dying
Trees cease tossing
Like the seas,
Water drips
Softly falling
Softly falling,
On the leaves...

Close your eyes
and visualize
the moon above
the same beams
that light your dreams
fall on the one you love.
open your senses and rejoice
to the vibrant voice
that flows through earth and stone
the same song
that carries you along
speaks to the one that is gone
feel the breeze caress your skin
all the energy to flow within
and your hopes atone
extract the essence
of the spiritual presence
you are never alone.
Earth Angels

When I'm feeling down or hurt
and all I want to do is cry
I feel four strong arms around me
Lifting me high into the sky
they are from my two earth angels
who are lending me their wings
and heal my spirit
so i can enjoy again
all of life's splendid things.

Eyes undressing me
hands teasing my belly
lips touching mine
taste like jelly
Fingers exploring my body
crawling through my hair
follow the lines of my eyebrows
touching me there...
Butterflies in my stomach
my heart beats so fast
Shaking from top to toe
Oh God, make this feeling last
What are you doing to me..

Dust if you must,
but wouldn't it be better,
To paint a picture or write a letter,
Bake a cake or plant a seed,
Ponder the difference between want and need?
Dust if you must,
but there's not much time,
With rivers to swim and mountains to climb,
Music to hear and books to read,
Friends to cherish and life to lead.
Dust if you must,
but the world's out there
With the sun in your eyes, the wind in your hair,
A flutter of snow, a shower of rain.
This day will not come 'round again.
Dust if you must,
but bear in mind,
Old age will come and it's not always kind.
And when you go and go you must,
You, yourself, will make more dust.
This Life I Have But Once To Live’
-Sami Sunchild
This life I have but once to live
These days and years are my great Treasure
I'll give to Life all that I am
And ask from her in equal measure.
I'll fill each hour to the brim
I'll give my very heart and soul
To Life, because I know for me
To truly live must be my goal.
The cautious ones would shake their heads
And say perfection cannot be,
This Dream I have is but a dream
Unknown to Life's reality.
But thou perhaps, dost also dream
Perhaps thou thinkst the same as I
That those will never know the best
who have no faith and dare not try.
If this be so, then be my Friend
Come, dance Life's Dance with me
Hold me strong that I thee hold
Living now, What Might Be.

-Saadi of Shiraz
A raindrop,
dripping from a cloud,
Was ashamed when it saw the sea.
'Who am I where there is a sea?' it said.
When it saw itself with the eye of humility,
A shell nurtured it in its embrace.
