CROSS-CONSTRUCT CONNECTION MODEL
PREMISE
- People
who reference the Elements of a Good
Decision use mental processing,
production, and mental energy controls related to the Neurodevelopmental
Framework. The relationship
between these two constructs may be useful for understanding specific
strengths and weaknesses when engaging in a reflective decision
analysis process.
- People
who reference the Elements of a Good Decision and apply Six Hat thinking may discover quality decisions are
made more efficiently.
CROSS-CONSTRUCT MODEL
- The
model is open to interpretation. There are more connections that can
be made between the constructs than are present on the model.
- The
Six Thinking Hat zone (in
purple) includes three possible thinking hats designated for each element in the Decision
Chain. It
must be noted that any of the six hats could be used. For
example, people who use the Decision Chain may recommend using Black Hat thinking to be careful and cautious when
gathering additional information.
