MAKE SOMEONEÕS DAY!

 

BIG IDEA: When you Òmake someoneÕs dayÓ you do something special for someone. You are careful make sure your actions are thoughtful, kind, and result in a feeling of joyfulness and happiness.

 

A GREAT TIME TO PRACTICE: The holidays are a special time of the year. ItÕs a time when we celebrate the customs and traditions of the holidays with our families, and we are filled with joy and the spirit of giving. What better time than the holiday season for us to try and make someoneÕs day?

 

Before we begin we must be certain there is value in making someoneÕs day. Students will take 20 minutes to complete the Value Medal table below to rate the BIG IDEA to Òmake someoneÕs day.Ó We will meet in Greeting Circle to share our conclusions and make a decision as a class.

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.    Open Word and type a proper header with name, date, and Character Education at the top.  The topic is: Make SomeoneÕs Day.

2.    Copy & paste the table below into Word.

3.    Complete the REASONING and VALUE RATING section.

4.     SAVE and PRINT your work for credit. Be prepared to share your work with the class.
