Broccoli is a carbohydrate...so is table
sugar and so is pasta. Carbohydrates are foods that come from the
ground. They includes all fruits, ÒsweetsÓ, vegetables, and grains
(including their end products--bread, pasta, tortillas, bagels,
etc.).
In the Living Medicine Food Plan, we do not eliminate or even reduce carbohydrates. We eat low glycemic
carbohydrates.
