I have been doing oil paintings and drawings since I was a little boy. I have always liked to observe nature and see all the beautiful colors. I like to see how things look in different lights and shades: the sunrise, the early mornings with the dew on the flowers, how pretty it is when the soft light touches the petals. We are very fortunate to live in a world that offers so much beauty. We have to try to stop from the rush of the days, shift gears and enjoy nature. When I paint, I try to capture the peace and beauty in nature. Then when we look at a painting we can enjoy it and capture a little bit of what we have, before we lose it.
