Buffy Summers was a girl like no other. She was a popular cheerleader dating a popular guy. She was your average girl with the normal bad hair days and headaches that came with high school. She lost all this except for the bad hair and headache part when Merrik (her first watcher) caught up with her, and told her destiny.Like any other girl she wasn't too pleased….not pleased that she even burned down gym of Henry High in Los Angeles. But she came to terms with it.
She moved to Sunnydale High to start life over from scratch, retire from slaying businness, and try and regain as much as a normal life she had before she met up with Merrik, but Rupert Giles (her current and second watcher) had other plans for her. Standing on the mouth of hell, Buffy is a student by day, but by night she fights evil that runs freely and hidden. Buffy is the Slayer. As long as there have been demons, there has been the Slayer. One girl in all the world, a chosen one, born with the strength and skill to fight the vampires and other deadly creatures. To find where they gather and stop the spread for their evil and swell of their numbers. When one Slayer dies, the next one is called and trained by the Watcher.
On her first day to Sunnydale high school, she met Cordelia - the most popular girl in school who befriended her. But when Buffy saw how Cordelia mistreated Willow, a shy girl, she began to rethink their friendship. While on a quest for textbooks, Buffy met up with Giles, the new librarian - a former courier.
Now back on hire, Buffy slays by night with the help of Giles, Cordelia, the 'Slayerates', and her leading man Angel.
