She decides to call it a night and blames herself getting alittle rusty. As she climbs in her window, and we see Angel is her bedroom looking around and hugging her little stuffed piglet. She tells Angel not to fret cause her mom is out of town, when question then why she came up from the tree she answered "force of habit, I guess". She tells angel that she isn't having a good day cause of carrer week, she just wished she was ordinary. Angel feeling uncomfortable doesn't like it, othewise they would never have met and fell in love, but Buffy assures him that he is the only one that makes sense in her life, one thing that makes it all worth it. Angel gets up and sees a picture of when she was young in her skates, Buffy explains that was her 'Dorthy Hammil' phase. Angel jumps to the chance of going to a ice-skating rink, to reminise her child-hood times.....it's a date.
The next day, Giles gets really worried about the incident in the cemetary, and Spike's plan to bring out the demon bounty hunters know as the 'Order of Taraka'.
Buffy tells Giles about the episode last night at the Mausoleum, he decides to visit the certain mausoleum Buffy found the vampire hounding around - only to find out that it confirms his worst fears. The vampire robbed the tomb of Josephus du Lac, a theologian and a mathematician who wrote a book of evil spells. It also seems that Sunnydale has some new arrivals. A big man from the bus with one functional eye, and a salesman that gives out free cosmetics - but looks are deceiving. Giles decides that they need to go throu other watcher diaries and findout what is in the vampire book and what is it in the book that enforced Spike to get it stolen and break into du Lac's mausoleum, plus what did they steal. On going throu the diaries, Buffy decides to go and bail on them for her date at the ice rink with Angel.
At the rink, Buffy skates for sometime when suddenly we see the big man from the bus entering the deserted rink. He attacks Buffy from behind and is about the kill her when Angel comes and saves her but get's almost totalled by the big man. Buffy skates up and hits kicks him with her skates, cutting his neck and killing him *kewl*. Angel warns Buffy that he isn't the only one to come after her and she should flee town. Buffy not very good at taking orders takes the ring and says she can handle it...and they share a romantic moment while we see a girl watching our two lovers having a moment. Buffy gives the ring to Giles, and states that the Order of Taraka are after her, they are assasins and will stop at nothing till Buffy is dead. He orders her that she should go into hiding, rattled, Buffy runs to go home, but only to change her mind and go to Angels place. We see that next door to Buffy's place, the woman her first came to visit to sell the make-up is dead and covered with maggot's, and then showing his arm formed out of maggots. Hoping to see Angel at his place she get's dissapointed and decides to sleep on his bed and see him when he comes home.
Angel at this moment is at a bar, and tries to find out from the vampire-friendly bartender who sent he Order after Buffy - but before he can get some useful information from Willy, he gets attacked by the girl who caught him and Buffy smooching on the ice. The girl throws him at the back and locks him up in a cell where he has got barely few hours till he gets directly exposed to sunlight, then goes off to find Buffy.
Giles figures out that the vampire book contained a spell to restore an ailing vampire to health -- a vampire like Drusilla. Xander decides to go and take Cordelia and check out Buffy if she is home or if something is wrong. They don't find her, but the maggot salesman shows up and entices Cordelia to free make-up samples and Cordelia let's him in. Buffy is awakened at Angels place by a noise and sees a girl with a hatchet ready to kill her. They fight eachother to a tie, and the girl asks Buffy who she is. Buffy throws back her question "You ask me who I am when you come in, who are you ?!". The girl announces, "I am Kendra, the Vampire Slayer", just as we see Buffy frown.
