We are back at Angel's loft where we - the audience are left dazed and confused. Kendra...a slayer? Hmmm that don't make sense, but anyway this is how this episode goes.
Back at Angel's loft, Kendra again identifies herself that she is the vampire slayer, Buffy thinking that the girl is screw loose tells her that they should both back off and check with her watcher. Kendra agrees and they are off to see Giles and find out who really Kendra is. When they go to see Giles, it turns out that Kendra is the vampire slayer. Buffy did die 'technically for a minute' after the close encounter with the master in his layer and it then activated the next slayer. Kendra stated that she was sent here by her watcher Sam Zabuto, because signs point that something terrible is to happen here in Sunnydale.
Meanwhile, we see Angel all week and scared the he is about to face his doom with mister sun when Willy comes and saves him just in the nick of time ... but only to deliver him to Spike. Back at Buffy's place, Xander comes downstairs from Buffy's room and both him and Cordelia get attacked by the second man from the order of Taraka, the salesman turns explodes into a giant mass of worms and chases them around Buffy's house until they run and barricade themselves in the basement. They block the entrance at the bottom of the door with duck-tape to help stop the worm man getting through the small slit.
Spike brings a weakened Angel to Drusilla, and states that tonight she will be back to her oldself and healed fully. We find out that tonight there will be a full moon and Angel's death will fully restore Drusilla to full health. Once again at the basement Cordelia and Xander get back to sharing insults and arguing, which lead them to kissing one another *ugh!*. Freaked by this they decide they hav been down here much to long and decide to make a run for it. They take out the duck tape and think that it's safe for them to go out and make a run for it, but just as they go for the door we find that the worm man was hiding on the ceiling and goes drops himself in a shower on Cordelia. They make a run for the door and Xander helps spraying Cordelia with the hose to get the worms off of Cordelia and drive off in haste to Giles. In school, Buffy gets back from the Bar happy that Angel got away and didn't turn into dust. She talks to Willow when she notices 'Oz' checking her freind out. She leaves Willow and Oz to chat together while she faces her doom - 'signing for law enforcement', only to find out that the law enforcement police-woman is the third Order or Taraka. The policewoman goes trigger happy with the gun trying to kill Buffy. Oz takes a bullet to save Willow, and just when Buffy's fate is sealed, Kendra comes and saves the day, but the assassin gets away. Everyone meets at the library, and just then Xander and Cordelia walk in and tell them their episode with the worm man. Giles introduces them to Kendra, and well with Kendra never have talked to boys gets tongue tied. Giles reveals the rest of Drusilla's cure. It would require the death of her sire, on hearing this Buffy tells them that Angel is her sire and goes mad announcing 'Spike you are going down, you can ....., send assassin's after me but Nobody messes with my boyfriend."
Back in Spike's lair, Drusilla tortures Angel before the ritual, taking out her revenge for the way he killed her family. She pores little drops of holy water on his chest *ouch, that's gotta hurt*. Back in the Library, while Xander goes through finding the bug man through the Index on Order of Taraka, Buffy and Kendra bond. Thou they are both similar they are miles apart in simillarities. Buffy takes her slaying destiny as a job but doesn't know that it is 'who she is'. She doesn't even know the definition of 'secret'. While Kendra has been sent to her watcher at a very young age and doesn't remeber her parents. All she does is train, and be ready for her calling to defeat the vampires, just then Xander finds the bug dude in the book and states that he can only be killed in his dissassembled state. He walks into the back office where Kendra goes all shy again. Buffy then recalls that there was one gentlemen whom they didn't speak back at the bar because of Kendra's inability to mingle with the opposite sex. They go back to the bar and get Willy the bartender to spill the beans that the ritual is to take place in a church and Angel is going to be killed. He agrees to take them there. Buffy goes ahead with the plan, but Kendra decides that it's better with procedure to go and report to the Watcher. Buffy leaves Kendra alone to the bar and walk into a trap.
She goes into the church accompanied by other assassins and vampires while the ritual is underway. In five minutes, Angel will be dead and Buffy will be soon to join him, but Kendra arrives yet again to save the day with Giles and slayerettes - uh including Cordelia. Buffy fights with the trigger/gun happy policewoman, while Kendra fights with Spike (lucky Spike, two slayers), while Giles tries and battles vampire with Willow. Xander leads the maggot dude into the hallway where both him and Cordelia pour glue onto the floor and kill each itty bitty worms. The two slayers switch opponents and Kendra gets pissed when the assassin rips her favorate and only shirt so she decides to pay kindly her respect by killing the assassin.
Buffy desposes Spike momentarily and inturrupts the ritual half-way, and tries to free Angel from the bond with Drusilla. Spike - ready to munch on Willy changes his course of plan and yanks on Buffy out of the way and sets the place on fire while trying to escape with the yet weak Drusilla, but Buffy knocks him unconciouse with the brazier, collapsing the organ on top of him. She then runs to Angel and comforts him. Kendra goes and helps Angel and Buffy out from the burning church and the rest of her freinds follow her out.
The next day, Oz charms Willow yet again with 'monkey animal crackers' *oh that's cute*. Xander and Cordelia try to give eachother a self explanitory reason for their 'kissing' at Buffy's basement - which doesn't work out cause it gets them all mad at eachother and back to kissing, and Buffy bids goodbye to Kendra. She learns one lesson from Kendra about herself. Slaying is not a job, 'it's who you are'. She goes off back to her home keeping Buffy's relationship with Angel a secret. Back at the church, we see Drusilla stronger than ever carrying a weakened Spike away from the reckage to .......
