The Episode starts off with the slayer and her freinds watching an East Indian movie and try atleast to figure out what is going on. Everything seems ordinary and no big activity seems to be happening from the Hellmouth when suddenly we see a girl jumping off the second floor window of a house. She runs away from the house and is chased by several men in robes into the cemetary. After a rigrouse chase, the men finally re-capture her and take her back to the strange house where we see one man putting his hood making sure no one noticed them chasing the girl.
The next day at school Cordelia is practicing how to laugh like a hyena (kinda suits her) with her freind hoping to boost her popularity with the help of going out with a fraternity guy. Afterschool Buffy, Xander and Willow are talking outside the school entrance when Cordelia tries her laugh out and gets some really bad comeback from her new beau Richard. His freind Tom notices Buffy and infeltrates Cordelia to introduce him. Tom invites Buffy to the fraternity party and is rejected when thoughts of Angel come up in the slayers mind. Taking rejection lightly he says its okay and tells Richard of it. Richard states to Cordelia if she can get Buffy to come to the party, she can come, if not, then Cordelia can't. Bummed about it, Cordelia makes sure that she gets Buffy to the party, even if she has to drag her into it.
On patrol that night, Buffy finds a silver bracelet with the initials 'ENT', and then Angel arrives stating he was lured here because of the smell of blood on it. They have a discussion about their relationship and goes completly sour when he states that it is not some fairy tale romance and Buffy spites back saying when he kisses her she wants to die and runs off hurt but making sure he doesn't know of it.
Hurt about the disscussion last night with Angel, she lets herself be easily talked into going to the fraternity party with Cordelia. At the same time, we see the fraternity just lets a new brother join into the group overlooked by a girl whom we saw last night making a desperate escape from them, chained to the wall.
Buffy lies to Giles, saying she is staying home with her mom who is not feeling well that night, upsetting Willow who has to lie to cover up for Buffy and making Xander jelouse that she is going to hang out with other guys who are richer and rumors of orgies that go on at the frat parties.
When arriving at the party, she gets dumped by Cordelia who decides to go check out the new stereo with Richard. Just when she gets bored to death, a guy comes and tries to pull some moves on Buffy but gets saved in a nick of time by Tom. After sometime she goes out and notices pieces of broken glass. When she looks up she notices a broken window but quickly chuks away the glass when Richard and Tom come to her and offer her a drink. She decides finally to take a drink, she is sick of being mature. At the same time, Xander is busted for being a gate crasher at the fraternity party.
At the library, Willow and Giles figure out finally that the bracelet belongs to a girl named Callie Megan Anderson who has been missing from Kent Prep School for over a week. They also find out that two other girls went missing a year ago close to the same day. They call up Angel and figure out that something must be going on at the fraternity house.
Back at the fraternity house, Buffy seems to have too much to drink and gets woozy. She goes upstairs and finds the nearest bedroom where she decides to take a rest till the room stops spining. Richard approaches Buffy but gets stopped. They can't do anything to 'them'. Tom states that 'they are for the pleasure of the one we serve.' Just then we see Buffy lying asleep in bed and Cordelia who looks like just missed the bed.
Giles fills in the details on what has happened while Willow seems to be facinated how Angel doesn't have a reflection and asks if he has any problem shaving (geez why didn't I think of that). Just as they are to go to the fraternity house Willow blurts 'Buffy', Giles rectifies saying it's okay they can handle the situation without her, but Willow continues on much to her regret 'is there'. Both men get pissed. Giles gets upset how she could have lied to her and Ange gets jelouse that how she could go to a party with a guy. Willow tells them that they both drove her to it, she needed a little fun and all she was doing is working and then turned to Angel and asks if he has ever heard of asking her for just coffee and it woudln't hurt and that he was rude to her at the cemetary, after that the three rush off to the fraternity house to save their slayer.
Xander gets thrown out of the fraternity house after everyone has left. He question if they have seen his freinds but they throw him out and warn him never to come again. As he walks out, he notices that Cordelia car is still there and nows that something is not right. The two girls get up and find themselves chained to the wall right beside Callie. Callie fills them in that they are all mean (referring to the fraternity boys) but one is different and not what he seems (referring to Tom, he isn't as nice as he acts). Tom kneels while they add some more what looks like diamonds to his back and offers Machida, a reptile demon, Cordelia, Buffy and Callie. He throws three stones down a hole. Scared Cordelia states she doesn't want to be thrown down the hole, but much to her regret, Buffy tells her it doesn't look like 'we go to it, I think it comes to us.' With that, Machida errupts from the hole and goes for his offerings.
Willow, Giles and Angel run into an embarresed and robed Xander at the fraternity house. When he tells them that he believes that Coredlia and Buffy are still in the fraternity house, and Angel expecting the worst turns on his vampire face and they all charge into the house to rescue Buffy.
Trying to handle the situation as best as she can, Buffy yanks out the chains from the ceiling and attack Tom. Taking the sword Tom held previously she goes and attacks Machida. Willow runs to Giles, Xander and Angel and warns that Buffy is down with a big snake. All three men run downstairs to rescue their slayer. Just before the men enter downstairs we see Buffy chopping off Machida's tail. The girls are saved. When Buffy sees Giles, Willow and Angel she knows she is in trouble. Giles rectifies the situation stating that he will try and be more linent on her and let her have some fun, he just want's her to be ready and prepared. She agrees and they all go home.
The next day, at the Bronze Cordelia decides it is much safer to be dating younger guys than older guys, while Xander reads the paper stating the frat boys all go to jail, and their parents suffering from financial ruins. Just then Angel comes in and asks Buffy if she will have coffee with him. She agrees...some time.
