We start the episode off with Buffy and Shiela sitting in Prinipal Snyder's Room getter sentenced to set up the coming Parent/Teacher night (man it's been eons since my parents went to one of those ding dong festivals). Why? Buffy's record of burning down the school and Shiela's knack of using cleavers and sharp objects with people. Xander tries to cheer her up by saying "Parents will love it,...as long as nothing bad happens.." Uh oh - a jinx.

Something bad is going to happen. Two new vampires have just moved into town, a very gleeful Spike and his weird girlfriend Drusilla. They come to visit the Annoited One to take care of their Slayer Problems - Spike has killed two Slayers successfully.

To make things even worse is coming Saturday is the Night of St. Vigeous, when the vampires powers is at their peak. To make it even worse, Buffy is not taking it seriously - she'd rather make sure everything goes A okay for Parent/Teachers night. She's alittle to petrified what Snyder is going to tell her mother. She decides to go home and start by studying for her up coming French exam - Willow and Xander take her to the Bronze where they try getting her studies compacted and for her to relax, but Spike is at the Bronze. Having her hopes down by not seeing Angel, Willow and Xander take her out on the dance floor - being studied by Spike. He senses something out of her, and to set his suspicions to rest he stages a little play(a girl being attacked by a pointy fanged guy). On hearing this Buffy rushes outside and kills the guy to dust. Spike comes out to greet her and let her know he will kill her on Saturday.

The next day she goes and tells Giles about the man they met yesterday and he said he would kill her. Angel comes in and warns them that he is very dangerous and be very careful with him - and off he goes.

Buffy is all freaked about her being prepared for the Parent/Teacher night. She does the Welcome Poster all alone without Shiela's help. That very night we see, Sheila leaving the club with two guys who get munched on Spike and she lead to his layer becoming Drusilla's dinner. While at the Library - Xander and Cordelia are incharge of getting all the weapons ready for St. Vigeous night.

Buffy is all set for Parent/Teacher's Night. Willow does her best effort to make sure Buffy's mom doesn't meet up with Principal Snyder. After an hour or two Buffy's mom question where Principal Snyder, since she has met everyone one of the classrooms and somehow none of her teachers. Principal Snyder gets finally to Joyce Summers and tells her he doesn't like Buffy's attitude in school yadi yadi ya...and just as it looks worse for Buffy - Spike crashes in Parent/Teacher's night. Seems like he couldn't wait to kill her.

Spike and his goons manage to cut the power and phone lines down, while Buffy hurries to get her mom, Principal Snyder and most of the other Parents and Teachers safely locked in a science room. Snyder decides its best they go out and suspend one by one youth to settle down the situation (Ya Right! Like suspensions going to work on Vampires....that would be a first). Buffy leaves by the vent ducts to head to the library and hunt down one by one vampire. She safely gets to the library, she learns from Giles that Spike is dangerous and he could seriously get her. Xander goes off to get Angel by the Library Back Door. We see back at the science room, Snyder and one of the teachers breaking the windows and think of getting out of the school safely that way, when breaking it open one of the men go through to show Buffy's mom it's safe to go out that way only to find that the gentlemen who went out the window gets attacked. Joyce takes control of the situation and tells of Snyder and gets everyone to keep calm and wait for help.

Angel comes back to distract Spike with Xander, trying to get his former student that he is still the bloodsucking killer, but Spike doesn't buy it. We find out that Angel is Spike's sire (That means Angel made Spike).

Buffy goes back to the Science room only saved by seconds in warning from her mom when Shiela tries to kill her from behind with an axe - Buffy turns around and catches her in the act and hits her a couple of times, Buffy then gets attacked by two vampires - who she beats to dust and gets the everyone in the sciene room out to safety.

Once Angel gets caught in the act that he is no longer the bloodsucking vampire like he used to be. Everyone goes out to follow Angel and Xander while Buffy confronts Spike alone. Both Buffy and Spike fight and just as it looks like Buffy is going to loose, he gets hit with an axe behind - by Buffy's mother. Joyce warns Spike not to come anywhere near Buffy again by stating 'You get the hell away from my daughter' (Like mother like daughter).

Spike runs away, the schools is safe and everyone is safe. The police come after everything happens, and seems like Snyder and a Police Officer are going to tell the media the whole incidence is 'Gang related, PCP'.

But, poor Willow is still stuck with Cordelia not knowing that it's safe to come out of the closet - while Cordelia prays to be a good person to god if they get out of this alive (Ya sure..maybe in a billion years).

'A Slayer with family and friends...that sure as hell wasn't in the brochure,' says a pissed and defeated Spike. Not liking the Annoited One or Annoying One he decides to get rid of him once and for all by locking him up in a cave and taking it up high and directly into sunlight killing him instantly.
