Happy birthday, baby...*hugs*...it boggles my mind to realize you are already 15....*sigh*....I remember when you were a baby in my arms....when you started school....when you graduated from elementary school....and now you are in high school and on the honour role....I am so proud of you....my heart sweals when I think of you.
This year I went surfing around looking for a cyber card to send to you...there were so many out there that I liked that I decided to take the poetry and place them here as your birthday card...
I love you,
Mommy
To My Daughter You were given to me to give to life You are the holder of values, giver of strength Dream big, dream wide Believe in yourself, take strength from within Commune with God during quiet peaceful times, During difficult, damning, thundering days Dream deep, dream long Envelop yourself in the spirits around you Take the energy that is your birthright Use it to develop your beautiful spirit Dream of me with love, dream of tomorrow Plant many gardens, till them carefully Tend them with love, feed them with patience Extend your roots to powerful ideas, supportive friends And a caring family Turn your face to the sunny smiles reflected in yours Harvest the fortitude, grace, and strength That you have sown Dream and follow those dreams -Poem by Julie Price McCall
MY DAUGHTER In my arms when you were small, I thanked God for you, precious gift! To me, you were such joy to behold, you made my spirits lift! I would make great plans, for us to share everything together. The talks, trials and experiences, braving all the stormy weather! I imagined your first step you'd take, all the pretty dresses you would wear! I would fix your hair in ribbons, all the secrets we would share! My love for you, filled me up. I didn't think I could be more blessed. Each day as you grew older, my love grew too, I was impressed! There have been many changes, all my dreams are different, somehow! You went beyond my expectations, as I see you grown up now! You are truly God's creation! A gift that was Heaven sent! God showed His love for me, in you, my greatest present! Thanks for Being a Great Daughter! I Love You -Poem by Judith E. Blackledge

Why God Made Daughters When God created daughters He took very special care To find the precious treasures that would make them sweet and fair... He gave them smiles of angels, then explored the midnight skies And took a bit of stardust to make bright and twinkling eyes... He fashioned them from sugar and a little bit of spice, He gave them sunny laughter and everything that is nice... He smiled when He made daughters, because He knew He had Created love and happiness for every mom and dad. Author Unknown
My day becomes wonderful when I see your pretty face smiling so sweetly There is such warmth and intelligence radiating from you It seems that every day you grow smarter and more beautiful and every day I am more proud to be your parent As you go through the many stages of life you should be aware that there will be times when you feel scared and confused but your strength and values will help you grow from your experiences and you will understand more about people and life I have already gone through these stages So if you need advice or someone to talk to to make sense out of it all I hope that you will talk to me as I am continually cheering for your happiness my sweet daughter and I love you - Susan Polis Schutz
Thank You For Being My Daughter What can I say to you to let you know what a special person you've been in my life? You have always been there for me like a guardian angel... you've been my best friend, my playmate, my mother, my helper, my mirror, my teacher, my student, as well as my beautiful daughter... it seems whatever my needs are at the time, you are exactly what I am needing. I love so many things about you... I love your beautiful smile, I love the way you love life and live every moment to be happy... I love that you don't make me feel old when I'm with you. I love the way you make me feel like a special Mom... I love your sensitivity to me and to others, and I love that you are so much fun just to be with. I love that you like to call me, and you make me feel like you really want to talk to me, not just out of obligation to call your Mom... and I love that you make me feel so good when you introduce me to your friends... you make me feel truly loved. I love that you seem to care what I think about you and your life, and you make me feel like you really do value my opinions most of the time. I love that you have something in you that makes you so charismatic to me and to others, and that they can see the special person you truly are, and I believe that you are from the highest realms of heaven and know you were brought here just to make people happy... and you do that so well! And I know I must be pretty special myself for you to have chosen me as your mother in this lifetime... and I hope in our next life together, you can be my mom so I can love you with the same caring, support, and love you have given me... and I can make you proud of me as I am of you. But most of all, sweet angel child of mine, I love that you are my daughter and my friend, and that I have you in my life... Thanks for being the daughter I always wanted... I couldn't have asked for a better one... I love you so much. -Poem by T.G. Langston
Dancing With My Daughter The music was on and playing loudly when my daughter was only three, and she held her arms up high, saying "Mommy dance with me." I picked her up and held her tight, as we would glide across the floor, and when the song was over, she would always say "just one more." So off we would go twirling and dipping, to the music playing so loud, my steps while holding her up, made me feel I was dancing on a cloud. She would always want just one more, we danced until I thought I would bust, who really cared if the furniture, was covered with a fine layer of dust. I was dancing with my daughter, and doing it with pleasure, now that she is growing up, it is the memories I will treasure. She's given up dancing with me, boys are much more fun, my days of dancing with my daughter, unfortunately now are done. -Poem by Jacquelyn Stair Sankey
