I would like to start by thanking the Prince George Spruce King's front office staff, the Spruce King hockey team and the visiting Trail Smoke Eaters for giving me this time.

Susan, as you have come to find out this hockey team has become a part of my daughter's and my life since moving to Prince George. I have seen her grow from a starry eyed, autograph seeking little girl in to a young lady; who, when she isn't singing the National Anthem at the start of the game is helping Gwen out at the Booster Club Booth. As witnessed last night, this team will continue to be a part of our lives, as we bought our season tickets for next year.

This morning while you were in your semenar, Shawna and I had a long talk. We think that you should become a big part of our lives as well.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, "Susan, will you marry me?" *Holding up gold wrapped box*
