What's the one thing you miss most when you're away from home? Is it the fam, friends or, perhaps, the pooch? "Preety much nothing," is what Aaron Carter tells BB at first thought.
Well, no, wait a minute. The 10 years old popster admits that there is one thing he had to hold back the heartache for while he's out touring to promote his self-tittled debut Cd and catchy tunes like "Shake it' and 'I'm gonna miss you forever" (featured on our BOP BOYS! album) - and that's being by the beach!
You see, not only does Aaron call and keep in touch with his friends while he's on tour, but his family - mom Jane, dad Robert and sisters Bobbie, 16, Leslie, 12, and twin Angel, 10 - often take turns traveling with him. And the 4-foot-9-inch talent got to tour and share the stage with big brother and Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, 18, all summer! Since his loved ones are so close - or at least just a phone call away- being near the beach is one of those things he doesn't like to leave behind.
As a matter of fact, the spunky singer tells BB that he chose to cover the Beach Boys hit "Surfin' USA" so he could make a beach-bound video! "I just said, I want to go surfing," explains Aaron, who wet-suited up on the Southern California coast to shoot the video for his summer single. "So we found a song that the words mean you can do that. I like surfing a lot."
But surfing isn't the only water sport he says goodbye to when he goes away. "I miss being home and riding my jet skis," the cute crooner, who lives off the coast of Florida with his family, groans. Aaron explains that he and his sis, Angel, share a jet ski and the two take turns taking it out when he's home. "I really powerful!" the singer exclaims wide-eyed.
Even more powerful than the jet skis is the big boat- a gift from Nick to the Carter clan - which the looks forward to boarding with the family and taking out at the beach when he goes home. "It's 42 feet long." he raves. Now that is something to look forward to!
