Bort Wa: Pictures from the 1998 event

The usual eclectic mix of beauties and monsters patronized this last event.
Unafraid of another patron's warning that the cameraman was attempting to "steal their souls", these patrons put on their best faces for this captured moment.
To the left, the intrepid party searches bravely for the lair of the Liche, while on the right, the Liche and his henchmen (and woman) lie eagerly in wait for the coming slaughter.
	A few patrons and staff members gather around the morning's fire, munching on mundane goodies and getting ready for the day's adventures.
Another Bort Wa visitor...but Pookas don't exist...or do they? (If you're not sure what a Pooka might be, if it existed, look in your dictionary under "puca", or rent "Harvey" with James Stewart.)

Bort Wa is a live-action event I run, with the help of my friends, once per year. An even portion of intrigue and war keeps the patrons busy 24 hours a day, for three days. If the complicated plots and battles aren't your cup of tea, we also have The Hunt (the prey are human criminals "volunteered" for service), or possibly the Bardic Circle where artists of every sort share their crafts.
The date of the next Bort Wa has not yet been set, but it will be sometime next year between or during the months of June and August.
