Undying Love

Hahaha....how funny...meeting her family for the first time with her lipstick on his shirt. Needless to say he had beat a hasty retreat.

That was only one of the interesting memories he shared with her. But it was getting late. The night sky was slowly fading into the brightness of the morning light. The stars had melted, yeilding their power to the rising sun. He grabbed the picture off the sill again, holding onto it like a baby holds to a pacifier...like as if the picture had been removed from him, he would die.

The memories kept bashing away at him, destroying every wall he had installed so long ago to block the memories of her in the back of his mind. The walls slowly crumbled, each giving way to a torrent of memories as they flashed before his now tortured mind. He sits now...like a child, once again, crying. Helpless. Innocent. For too long now he had been denying himself...denying his emotions, his love. But no more. No more.

Motionless, he sat...clutching to the photo of the young woman in his arms, holding her photo like he wished he was holding her. Crying.

Crying.

The salty tears burning down his face..oh how he longed to be with her again! The pain was unbearable! Unimaginable! I WANT YOU! I NEED YOU! Come back to me! Please! More tears. More bloody tears. Even they seemed to be against him, for no longer would he cry tears of water, but instead tears of blood. This pain would be lifted, if in only one way.
