Let's face it. 4G are old! If you have to fix this problem of a rear compensator arm non-adjustability, here's some thoughts to help you out.
If you're changing the bushings for the Prothane ones like I did, the prothane metal outer sleeve is exactly the same size as the new OEM honda compensator arm bushing sleeve so follow helm's directions as far as how much to press the sleeve in. Busing is exacltly 1.19" (outer dimeter). I thought I needed a dowel to press the old ones out but you don't, put it in a vise and twist then out.
Getting the compensator arm out is the worst part. At first I thought I'd just cut it out. I did for one side, got so bloody tired but for the other side I heated the bolt from the inside of the car (I cut the access hole as you can see from the pictures) and simply hit it few times and hammered it out. The reason for all this nonsense is the following: As soon as you're trying to get that bolt out, the sliding/tightening mechanism/screw pops right out of the chasis and spins. The bolt has seized with the bushing sleeve preventing you from pulling it out. Here's some pictures below. Please note what the actual sliding mechanism is. Hope this helps some one...
