Installation

Ground Converter should be secured in place using electrical tape over the black portion of the switch. Under no circumstances should the "heat shrunk" portion of the switch be bend nor subjected to pressure. Bending or pulling of the "taped" portion may result in a damage of the switch.

The Ground Converter can be installed inside of the car or in the engine bay because of soldered and heatshrunk connections.

There are 3 wires on the ground converter:
1. +12V Battery (connection of this wire is best made to a fused, switchable +12V supply, ex. ignition switch or through a relay in the example shown below). Relay should only be used if you have a lot of accessories running on that one line, if not, connect it straight to the accessory switched +12 V.
2. Negative Trigger from the RPM switch (connect this wire to the yellow wire off the RPM switch)
3. VTEC Solenoid. (connect this wire to the VTEC solenoid)

Always fuse connections made to the + 12 VDC supply. For the ground converter, use a 10 Amp fuse. The package does not include the fuse but for the ground converter's +12V supply, connection can be made to the red wire of the RPM swich (+12V, Battery), thus utilize the already existing fuse. The connection should be made between the fuse and the RPM switch. (and not after the fuse)
N.B. Every Ground Converter is tested before being sold.
