More Cold Air to your T body

Remove your throttle body. Does it open all the way? Mine opened only to about 85 degrees not 90. Two minutes filing the bump stops fixed that. I removed the top half of the brass spindle for better airflow. You have to remove TPS sensor to slide the shaft out. Then you have to cut the portion that does not contain treads. This alone gave about 5% increase in area. The next step would be to countersink the two screw heads. Don't forget to Loctite the screws.

If you find that the throttle stop screw has been played with, and you know that the factory setting is what you need, here's what you do. Unscrew it until throttle is resting against the bore. Then, turn the screw until it starts to move the throttle. Go an additional 1/2 turn or so. And you're done. Set your TPS to under 0.5V with the throttle plate closed.
