Installing power mirrors into 89-91 Civic/CRX is relatively easy. To complete the project, you'll need the following: Power mirrors off 89-91 Honda Civic LX or JDM once from Civic SiR, power mirror switch off 89-91 Civic LX or 90-92 Acura Integra, and some wires. Best is to go to a wrecking yard and pick up the wire harness off a civic that runs from the front of the car to the back (rear illumination harness). This way you'll never run out of wire for future projects.
If you are using mirrors off the LX, they don't just bolt on. You'll have to modify two holes in the door's A-pillar. Thus, it's 2 holes/door to be modified. Not much of a big deal. If you don't want to drill, you'll have to transfer the base of each mirror (your old one) into the LX mirror. I haven't done this but I've heard that it works. Makes things look a lot like stock.
The hardest part of the project is to run 3 wires/side from the switch to the inside of the doors. You don't have to drill new hole. Once you push the rubber protector in, it's easy to put it back in. It may take you 10 min but remember it is possible.
The switch from an integra is better looking than the one from the LX model. Although LX model switch fits right in, it doesn't look good. SO I used Acura one, but to use it you have to cut a hole out of the stock cover which is located near the ignition (just right of the ignition on the dash).. The connections are the same for the acura switch as for the LX one.
