The "Big Man" was the leader of the renowned criminal group called "The Enforcers" who once took over the entire New York City crime syndicate. After serving time in prison for early crimes he was convicted of, Foswell repented and was re-hired by J. Jonah Jameson. He also served as an underworld counterspy for the police department but soon returned to his criminal ways, becoming the Kingpin's first lieutenant. However, when the Kingpin's men tried to kill J. Jonah Jameson, Foswell could let any harm come to the only man who had trusted him after spending years in prison and given him a job. Foswell died a hero, taking a bullet for Jameson. |
