I flew with my sister to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, to meet Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen. By the time I actually got to my hotel at the Dixie Landings Resort it was 6:00pm. I still couldn't believe that tomorrow I was going to meet Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen!

Tuesday, August 5, 1998

It was finally here! I was only 2 minutes away from meeting Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen! The first event with Mary-Kate & Ashley was held in the Planet Hollywood in Downtown Disney! Nico says "Give it up for Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen!" Both MKA came out smiling and dancing. Nico gave Mary-Kate the mike and MK says "thanks for coming, I'm Mary-Kate." Then Ashley takes the mike and says "Hi I'm Ashley and were going to have a great time here it is going to be so much fun!" Nico played some of their music but it was from 1995 so MKA and some of the fans couldn't remember the words. They did play some other songs. You could really tell that both MKA really like the song "Bobby World because they were singing and dancing to the music! After the event they asked all of the people from Sail with the Stars to ask the fans if they would like to eat lunch with MKA at Planet Hollywood and of course I did. On the same day they had another event scheduled at the AMC theater! This event was the Question and Answer session. It was really nice because you got to see their personality. Both of them were shy. For example, someone asked Ashley if she would bust a move in hip hop and Ashley. You can tell that she was embarrassed to do it by herself. Nico says come on Ashley. Ashley says on the cruise. Another example was when some boy asked MKA if they had a boyfriend, and does he have any chance of being their boyfriend. Ashley looks over to her mom and MKA both of them gives a huge smile. I ask them if they would like a Full House Reunion in the year 2000 and MKA both said yes. We played Bingo! Mary-Kate & Ashley were calling the numbers and eating starburst. In between the games, Nico would get everybody up and start dancing. Even Lizzie was their dancing. If you won a game you would get a free copy of The New Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley The Case of the Wild Wolf River book.

Mary-Kate & Ashley were not their today because Sail with the Stars decided made a Video Memories tape just for MKA it was a surprise. They had all of the fans come up to the camera to say a few words for the video memories tape.

Friday, August 7, 1998
We boarded the Disney Magic Cruise ship. When i finally got settled in my cabin my sister and I decided to check out Deck 11 were the MKA were going to be later today for the event. Well I was walking out on the pool deck 11 and a bunch of people pass by my sister and I. I turned to see and I saw Mary-Kate go right by me. I was so amazed. Because at Disney World I never got to see them except during the events. I was going to follow them around but I felt kinda of weird so I stop. Someone from Sail with the Stars saw me and said that MKA are in the Buena Vista Theater on Deck 5 for a special event. When I got there the place was packed solid. A minute later MKA was announced and they started dancing and after dancing they decided to do a Q&A session again. Entertainment Tonight showed a segment on August 14th show. The rest of the events were held at Goofy's Pool on Deck 11. I decided to go about 45 minutes early before the next event because I wanted a good spot. But when I got there it was packed solid. It looked like the whole cruise ship was at Goofy's Pool. Mary-Kate & Ashley were late getting there because the crowd so big. Parents were pushing other parents kids out of the way so their children would be able to see MKA. This little girl got pushed and was crying. It was very disappointed. Finally MKA came out and they started to dance then they got in the middle and started dancing in a circle. After a while they went up to the stage and danced. MKA didn't want to go back in the middle because they looked like they were a little scared. Which I don't blame them. After the event they served dinner. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday I was very lucky to be able to eat with Mary-Kate & Ashley. I was only sitting about a couple of tables away from them each time. Their mom Jarnett, Trent, Lizzie their moms friend, and a couple of MKA friends and Trent's friend. After dinner we went to see Disney Dreams. When MKA were sitting in the theater everyone came up wanting to take pictures with them. I thought it was so sad because MKA were being very nice and considerate and trying not to be so noticeable and people kept on looking and talking and everything!

Saturday, August 8, 1998
They had two events today. The first event was and autograph session. I was so nervous when I went up to get their autographs. I shook Mary-Kate hand and then Ashley's. They were both very polite when I was talking to them. The next event was more controlled than yesterday's event. When I got up to Deck 11 I notice that Sail with the Stars people were making sure that just the Sail with the Stars group was their at Deck 11. MKA came out in poodle skirts because it was a 50's party. They had each age group come up and have a chance to dance with MKA. They played the song "Grease Lighting" and MKA really loved the song because they were both singing.

Sunday, August 9, 1998
Today they had two events. The first one was on Castaway Caye. Sail with the stars had a lip sync contest. Then Mary-Kate & Ashley came out to take pictures with the their fans. Mary-Kate & Ashley just finished working. The scene they were shooting that morning was a spot on TGIF where MKA were in their swimsuits. Later that night we had another time at the Goofy's Pool.

On Monday I flew back home and I still couldn't believe that I met MKA in DisneyWorld.
