Question AOL

This is for you AOL foke. (this does NOT condone the use of them or does NOT cover MMers or servers and i HATE phisherz). please do not use this for a report for your school assignment with my consent. IF you do it will be and you can get in trouble. Just reword it and add some of your own research. If you want you can quote from here and use me as a work citied or for part of your bibliography. Next time you get in trouble for using an AOL grogs such as FateX3, Outbreak, Pepsi, MIB, Magenta, or any other type such programs. Question AOL about their policies.

-= Why are we stopped from trying to learn? =-

Next time you get in trouble for using an AOL grogs such as FateX3, Outbreak, Pepsi, MIB, Magenta, or any other type such programs. Question AOL about their policies. Why is that Host and Guides can use them and normal people can also use a program called AOL Power Tools and Ultra Tools but we are not allowed to use these grogs. These programs came out very much early then did Power Tools and Ultra tools and pretty much they are the same design as FateX3, Outbreak, Pepsi, MIB, Magenta, or any other program that is out. They are the same design as Power Tools and came out before AOL power tools. AOL charges for these programs like Power tools and they cost $40.00. They are not copyrighted as far I know. but how can they (AOL) say that the use of Fate is Illegal when they produce and sell the same thing but under a different name. Granted there are some difference between these programs but never the less they are the same.

Also I don't think that AOL can condone the use of these type grogs. Why can they sell and promote the use of Power Tools but not Fate. Is it because of the fact they get no money or because we though of it first. We learned we made and we did NOT want to charge for them and thought that they should be given out free. Then AOL makes revisions in the TOS and says that Our programs are illegal and that we can have reprocusions brought upon us and even Termination. I agree with AOL in the fact that Software that you MUST buy should not be given out freely and promoting WAREZ is NOT what i am doing. But for using Fate and other programs like it we have done nothing wrong.

We the hackers Learned AOL By our selves. We wanted to know all about the system and how it works. And so we wanted to make something that makes AOL easier and more fun. There is no crime in that. But AOL decided to make it one. They went off and changed the TOS and made any type of program illegal. Then they probably said wait we can make money off this. and made AOL Power Tools and changed it again so that they would make Fate illegal but not their own programs.

I agree that Warez is illegal to a degree. But Fate and other such type programs ARE NOT Warez. Nor can they be classified as that. Warez is classified as illegal software that you have to buy in order to obtain. This Does NOT include free ware and Public Domain Software. Only copyrighted Software is classified as Warez. they try to say that Fate and other type programs are Warez which in fact are NOT. They were created to make AOL easier and funner.

Steve Case should get off his high horse and see that we want to learn more about how things work and what makes them run. We are not here to cause havoc and kaos. We are here to learn and enjoy what the computer can bring to us. And he just wants to NOT let us. We can't learn in school cause it is boring. So we learn on our own with our minds we try thing to learn about how this works and how that works and why. So that we can say i know that and get a job doing that. But he limits us and says NO you can't do that. We learned AOL we made FATE we learned HOW to make FATE. And he takes all of our hard work and flushes it down the drain and says NO you can't do that, like we are little children trying to get a cookie.

I believe that we the users of AOL should have some say in this field. But we are only limited to what AOL says we can do. We can't learn except in school (which mind you also what the US government says). AOL doesn't even want to talk to us about the subject. I think they should sit down at the table with us and discuss the issue with us. Maybe why they won't is because we are hackers. but not all hackers are bad. A true hacker learns and doesn't exploite unless need be. They have morals and courage. They try to learn all they can. Please Learn all you can anyway you can. But don't be a menace or a punk like half of what the AOL hackers and warez people are.

This is My own opinion of this subject. IF you agree with me please send me a name that i can post and i will. Thanks. just go to our form and fill that out and i will post your name if you want.
