If man takes a certain sound
path, and ties himself to the chariot wheel which is moving along this path and declares
that he will not deviate an inch from it; if he is then seduced, or is surprised by a disease,
he is blamed or criticized by those who know him, even if they do not take the same path,
or if they move at a slower pace along that path. Thus, man will be tied to the rope with
which he tied himself and can hardly escape his supporters so opponents attack. |
