A new service replacing part of the PINE HILLS route. Buses run from Luttrell Loop via Danforth Avenue, Danforth Road and Kennedy Road, looping via Forbes and Ellendale.

November 25, 1956

Revised looping at the north end, via Shropshire, Wye Valley and Ellendale.

August 18, 1969

Kennedy Road closed at Highway 401 so all buses turn at an off-street loop on the east side of Kennedy, just north of Antrim Crescent. A north-end shuttle runs from Birchmount & Sheppard via Sheppard Avenue and Kennedy to the existing loop at Finch Avenue, with the south-end loop via Birchmount Road, Cass, Amethyst and Sheppard.

September 2, 1969

Buses between Warden Station and Finch Avenue detour both ways around the Highway 401 construction via Progress, Midland and Sheppard. The north-end shuttle is discontinued.

January 2, 1972

Evening and Sunday service extended to Finch.

Service on the 43C Progress branch extended at the north end, now running via Sheppard Avenue, Washburn Way and Tapscott to Finch Avenue, looping via Finch, Neilson and Crow Trail. Alternate rush hour trips continue to turn at Markham & Progress.
