June 26th, 1936

Buses operating from Davenport division replace radial car service on Kingston Road east from Bingham Loop to Scarboro Post Office.

September 1st, 1936

Extra "tripper" bus added to run up Birchmount Road to Scarborough High School, operating mornings and evenings, Monday through Friday. Bus housed at Russell division and operated by the Russell extra man.

September 3rd, 1936

Buses terminate in the new Birchmount loop.

April 6th, 1942

Route extended east to West Hill during rush hours only. Sliding fare scale replaced by flat zone 3 fares.

June 11th, 1942

Sliding fare scale restored as far as Stop 26, with a straight 5¢ fare east of Stop 26.

February 28th, 1944

West Hill service increased to operate daily and on holidays.

September 10th, 1945

Operations transferred to Sherbourne Garage.

January 7th, 1946

West Hill service headways reduced from 60:00 to 30:00 minutes at rush hours.

Although posed at Hillcrest Shops, this shot of brand-new 934 on May 22nd, 1946, clearly shows the SCARBORO destination sign.
