May 1st, 1939

Rush hour service provided from 6:00 to 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 12:00 noon to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, from Broadview & Danforth Avenues via Gamble Avenue, Pape Avenue and O'Connor Drive to the corner of Don Mills Road and return, looping clockwise via Erindale, Ellerbeck and Danforth to Broadview.

May 29th, 1939

New universal transfer introduced for the York Township section of the route, replacing FOREST HILL transfers temporarily in use.

June 29th, 1939

New standard city transfer used on city section, replacing FORT transfers temporarily in use since May 1st, 1939.
Broadview (Township) transfer
A Broadview (Township of East York) transfer from the World War II years. Toronto Transportation Commission transfers were colour-coded, with Broadview (Tp.) being orange with red printing.

March 12th, 1941

Monday to Friday morning service reduced to 6:00 to 9:30 a.m., but afternoon hours increased to 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday morning service added from 6:20 to 9:20 a.m., and afternoon service extended to 6:40 p.m.

January 2nd, 1942

Weekday service now operates 12 hours per day, and Sunday service added from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.

September 6th, 1942

Sunday service now operates from 11:00 a.m. to 11:40 p.m.

October 12th, 1942

Route extended east on O'Connor to Plains Road (now Darwyn), near Coxwell Avenue.

March 7th, 1943

South portion of loop no longer runs on Gamble.

May 27th, 1943

South terminal now uses the new Erindale loop, north of Danforth.

September 10th, 1945

Operations transferred to Sherbourne Garage.

December 26th, 1945

Two late-night weekday trips added at 12:20 a.m. and 12:40 a.m.

May 5th, 1947

Daily service from Erindale loop to Danforth loop via Broadview, O'Connor and Coxwell. Short turn service from Erindale to Coxwell & Athlone.
