Commencing at 1:30 p.m., buses replaced YONGE electric cars north of Eglinton Carhouse, to Glen Echo Loop. Work was then started on the removal of streetcar tracks on Yonge Street, from Carhouse Loop to north of the Yonge-Eglinton intersection. Buses looped clockwise through Glen Echo Loop, turning east from Yonge to the north side of the platform, then south to Glen Echo Avenue, returning west to Yonge Street. At south end, buses used a temporary loop and loading platform north of Eglinton Carhouse Loop.
