Inauguration of a new bus route from Mt. Pleasant and Stibbard Avenue to Avenue Road and Strathallan Boulevard, via Mt. Pleasant Road, Eglinton Avenue and Avenue Road. From Eglinton & Oriole Parkway to Avenue Road & Strathallan the new route replaces the north half of the ORIOLE bus. Service provided seven days a week.

Route extended north from Stibbard Avenue across the new Mt. Pleasant Road bridge, east on Glengowan Road and north on Dundurn Road, looping via west on St. Leonard's Avenue, north on Mt. Pleasant and east on Dinnick Crescent. (The route detoured over to Dundurn in order to avoid a steeper grade on Mt. Pleasant.)

Eastern loop expanded, now running via east on Glengowan, north on Dundurn, west on St. Leonard's, north on Mt. Pleasant, east on Dinnick Crescent and Rochester Avenue, south on St. Ives Avenue, west on St. Leonard's, south on Dundurn and west on Dawlish Avenue to Mt. Pleasant.

All-night service provided over part of the EGLINTON route by new NORTH TORONTO night bus, running from St. Clair & Yonge via St. Clair Avenue, Mt. Pleasant Road, Eglinton Avenue and Avenue Road to Otter Loop.
June 7th, 1942
Night service changed: NORTH TORONTO night bus cut back to operate only between Otter Loop and Starrett Loop (just west of Yonge & Eglinton). (ST. CLAIR cars provide all-night service on Mt. Pleasant Road).

NORTH TORONTO night bus included on regular EGLINTON bus schedules.
September 19th, 1944
Due to construction of Sunnybrook Hospital on Bayview Avenue, EGLINTON buses provide a rush hour service from Yonge & Eglinton via Eglinton Avenue, Mt. Pleasant Road and Blythwood Road to and from the Hospital. This service increased as required during hospital construction.
