Inauguration of a new bus route on Sheppard Avenue between Addington Avenue (one block west of Senlac Road) and Wilfred Avenue (half way between Willowdale and Bayview Avenues). One bus operates on a 20 minute headway during rush hours, Monday through Saturday.
November 12, 1951
Route extended east on Sheppard, south on Bayview, west on York Mills Road and south on Yonge Street to Glen Echo Terminal at the City Limits, then returning to Addington via the same route. Headways lengthened to 30 minutes. No change to hours of service.
August 5, 1952
Western loop rerouted via south on Easton Road, east on Johnstone Avenue and north on Walker Road (now Fennell Street). Short turn service operated from Easton, running counterclockwise around an extended easten loop via north on Wilfred, east on Hillcrest Avenue and south Willowdale.
October 14, 1952
Route cut back from Glen Echo, now operating only on Sheppard between the original Addington loop and Wilfred Avenue.
