Spam Fighting/E-mail Address

After numerous requests, I have decided to take the time and create some Spam fighting lessons for all that are interested. Please do not consider these lessons as the only answers to Spam fighting questions. There are more qualified people than I in the Spam fighting area.

Most members in the group show fake return e-mail address's in their headers. (big new flash) The Spam boots pick these address's up, send out their e-mail, and then get it back in their face as BOUNCED. I show my real addresses so I can shove it up their ass!!!!!

If you want to show your real address, but want to Spam block it, you MASH the address so that someone reading it (human) will see the obvious error and correct it before trying to send you a note. i.e.; nailpounder2@not4spam_msn.com (boots can read this one now) You can also put a signature file at the bottom of a post in plain text explaining how to correct you address.

There is a correct way to mash your address.

nailpounder2@not4spam_msn.com ---- correct
$nailpounder2@not4spam_msn.com----correct
$nailpounder2@msn.com----------- no way Jose

The first two are bounced back to the spammer's server because the server "not4spam_msn.com "does not exist. This uses NONE of your ISP's server resources. (It never gets there) It DOES use the spammer's server resources trying to find the bogus server name that you gave it, or that the bot lifted from a post in a NG.
The third way gets to your ISP's server and then it looks for your e-mail address in vain. Most servers will look for an address for up to 5 days, consuming CPU usage. This slows things up a bit, like downloading legit e-mail MSG's.
Which way do you prefer, screwin' yourself, or screwin' the spammer?
