When embarking on a career, it is necessary to know your mission. So the wise say. We'll see if that helps a bit.
MY MISSION
To boldly go... no, that's been done. My mission is to learn the ins and outs of the film and television industry and use same as a tool for personal demystification and as a medium to communicate and to educate the world.
I consider truth and accuracy not an impediment, but a building block that can lead to really great stories. Although improving television is a goal, I feel that the world's view of television undermines any attempts by television to improve itself. People are missing what is great about television in their eagerness to dismiss it. The result is that television professionals have no incentive to add more to television, when what they do give is summarily ignored. Okay, so that sounds cheesy. I need to rephrase it more. But missions are cheesy. C'est la vie.
