Chorus In An Empty Field

by John Dorsey

In Middle Age

i have my favorite bandages
& envelopes

eat meatloaf you can heat up
in a minute flat

i’m hardly a racehorse
i can remember
every warm kiss
in 1998

every cool breeze
on my cheek
is a memory

of something better.
