Nobody's Hero

I decided not to get drunk
on Christmas Eve this year
avoided going to the pub
and got an early night instead
I thought it would be nice
to wake up on Christmas morning
without a hangover for once
but now it is 6am and I
have been awake since
4.30am and I am writing
this poem when I should be
fast asleep. Fuck sake.
