Tucked in the northeastern region of Europe, the Baltic states offer medieval castles and old towns, beaches,
forests, and lakes along with friendly locals and excellent food. However, roughly 100 days into the Russian
invasion of Ukraine, these countries demonstrated striking levels support for their brothers and sisters in
the former Soviet Union and in the fight against a resurgent empire. On the ramparts of castles and the
facades of government buildings, on churches, at restaurants, in store windows, on street art, the Ukrainian flag flew high.
