I'm a 28 year old, California born cowboy now living in Wylie, Texas with my wife Marsha and my dog "Dallas".
I was discharged from the U.S. Air Force in November, 1998 after 4 years of faithful service. I was stationed at Edwards AFB in Southern California and worked on F-16 fighter jets there. My official title is "Attack Control Avionics Systems Specialist". Pretty big title for a lil' ol' cowboy like me. The Air Force is what got me to Texas ( I would have gotten there anyway, but the Air Force helped). I went there for basic training and my schooling for my job. As soon as I arrived I realized it was everything I thought it would be...and MORE!!
It wasn't long until I met the woman I was to marry. My beautiful wife

I've been reading Cowboy Poetry for many years but got really involved in writing poetry after going to my first Cowboy Poetry festival back in California. That's where I got to meet Waddie Mitchell (a famous Cowboy Poet). I've read a lot of his stuff and I was very excited to meet him and get his autograph!!
