The KAREN BAWOLL Gallery

Karen Bawoll, of Portage la Prarie, Manitoba, Canada, is a long-time hobbiest, with talent to burn! She joined the hobby in 1979, and began repainting in the early 1980's. Shortly thereafter, she began customizing, and the rest, they say, is history.

Karen's work is highly prized in Canada. She is such a perfectionest, she has been known to re-do a horse 3, 4, 5, or even more times, before she is satisfied with the final version. The wait is worth it, as you can see by the photos below!

Karen has recently finished writing a book on Guinea Pig care, and will be easing out of customizing to concentrate on doing 2-dimensional art, as well as (probably) painting some resins.
