The Caribbean Association of Students (CAS) is a student run organization for and by students. The club is overseen by the Assistant Dean of Student Activities, New York Institute Of Technology, Manhattan Campus. The aim of CAS is to bring the essence of the Caribbean to the students of NYIT. This organization, formed in the Fall semester of 1997 with the intention of bringing students that are interested in the Caribbean or those that are of Caribbean origin together in a mutual setting.
