Last Dance

Save the last dance for me

It was a promise we'd always have

In split second moments of time

Frozen into our dreams

Where to now?

I've thought of your face a million times

And thought if that last dance

Would it be our final together?

The ugliness is beginning to show

Cracks are forming around the edges

Everything is falling apart

But I won't let it go

We both have gotten caugh up in matters of concequence

No longer being free

Thinking to live is to die

To be one of the useless ones

So save the last dance for me

We were everything to each other in our past life

Which our youth burned so bright, like a million candles

Please hold on for one more dance......
