The Page About Me....
My name is Tim Van Boening, I was born January 18th, 1981 in Van Nuys, California. I live with my parents, Greg and Jan, and I have one brother, Mike, who is married to Brenda. Mike was the manager of a resturant in West L.A. called Cafe 50's, but he quit that a little bit ago, and he's returned to school. Brenda works for Capitol Records in the famous building on Hollywood and Vine in Hollywood. If you ever go there, say hello to her.
I have many friends. My best friend in all the world is John. I've known him for over six and a half years. Jake is my main man, he is one slick guy, I've known him the second longest at three years. My friend Mylssa lives up in Alaska, and we talk through Yahoo Pager and e-mails. I have alot of friends on the internet, too many to name...and here in Palmdale, also..so this is the end of this part...Why not go to the friend's page to see all my friends? Go

I love to write poetry, I have been for over two years, and I have about 100 poems...a bit of the ones I like, that don't suck, or say something I like are on my poery page. I always felt I couldn't ever do it...till I just thought "If these girls (who I see write poetry) can write about love and other things that they turn into something to go along with a Lisa Frank picture (those annoying pictures of neon and pastel dogs, horses, cats, etc. that little girls have...), then I can write how it feels to me...where it hurts more then it feels good." And I wrote "falling" "Laughing At Myself" and "Suit" (the latter two aren't on my website, "Laughing..." is the only one of the two I'd put up...Suit is sorta lame) all in one night. The poems are as close to being in order of being writen as I can on the website. It all melded into one big ball of wax over the two years. I have alot more poems, some good, some great, and some that hold onto my heart tightly. I admit alot of my poems are made up...I'm not telling which ones are...but some are based upon my real life, and some are just my imagination going wild... But I love to write...and I hope I do it for a long time...
I live in Palmdale, California. Palmdale is a town 60 or so miles North of Los Angeles. It is part of the Mojave Desert, and it is brown here, and If you like the desert, then it's your place. But if you like forests and greenery, then this place isn't for you. This place isn't for me. It used to be green, and it had a type of antelope indiginous (I think that's how you spell it) to only this area, hence the name of the valley The Antelope Valley. When they built the aquaduct for Los Angeles in the 1920's, they dammed up a stream and lake (Lake Los Angeles), and the greenery died, and the antelope died. It was as windy as it is now here then, but the trees and grass on the hills stopped it, but now...now it's all dead and the wind blows all the time.
I seem to have a offbeat personality. I write poetry yet I tell really lame jokes...huh? I just am a different kind of guy. I act hyper and weird in front of people I don't know, and people are totally surprised to see that I write poetry that is half-good. My friend Steve said "It's your trick to the world, people think you're one way, then poof, you're another way!" I think thats what he said, it was close to that. I guess I am just different, and I like being different.
I play guitar. I have a white (now it's vintage white, real vintage white) 1963 Fender Duo-Sonic, it's my baby...and also a Peavey Mantis, which is really cool. It's weird and not like any of my friend's guitars... My newest guitar is an acoustic/electric 12-string Charvel I got from my friend, it's beautifulI, it's a nice heritage cherry sunburst. Also I own a metallic purple Washburn bass which is mighty sweet...ooo..I love all my guitars...
I am a Christian. I have been one for over thirteen years now. I accepted the Lord when I was five, and I was in our pool at our old house. I just said to my mom "Mommy, I want Jesus in my heart" and then I prayed for Him to come into my heart. I love God, He is my Lord. I sometimes (more often then not) put things before Him, my music, etc, but He is my Lord. I have seen too many miricles in my life to say He doesn't exist. So you may not believe the same as me, oh well. He is mine, and if you want Him, He can be yours also.
the end, go away.
the end
