The purpose for the Revival-Fire Discussion Conference is for
Christian leaders (pastors, evangelists, ministers, etc.) who believe the
current revival known as "The River of God" is a genuine outpouring of
the Holy Spirit. This list is expressly for the purpose of build- ing up
and encouraging each other through the sharing of;
Testimonies
Questions
Help in answering critics
Examination of Biblical and historical context
Announcements of special meetings
Revival-Fire-Chat (see on-line chat feature at bottom of page)
THIS IS A NON-DENOMINATIONAL LIST AND WILL NOT
BE LIMITED TO ANY DENOMINATIONAL OR FELLOWSHIP AFFILIATIONS.
HOW IT WORKS -
A conference is an e-mail address which points to many different e-mail
addresses. To be a bit more precise, an automated system accepts e-mail
sent to that address, process- es it, and resends it to a set list of
addresses. When you post to the conference address: Revival-Fire@xc.org
all other subscribers will see what you have posted and can responed
either to you idividually (by sending you a private e-mail) or continue
the discussion by posting a response to the entire list.
EXPECTATIONS -
This list is not a place to challenge if the present renewal is
a genuine move of God. There are many other forums open to that debate.
Those who oppose the "Toronto Blessing, Brownsville Revival, etc." or
wish to debate about it are not permitted to join but are encouraged to
seek out those other forums for their discussions.
Revival-Fire Discussion Conference is a place for edification and
encouragement. Mess- ages which are negative -- tearing down instead of
building up -- are not welcome. Examples of negative messages include
attacking;
Those who are leaders in the revival
The list owner and other participants
The revival itself
All participants are expected to be gracious and demonstrate the
fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) toward each other. If you have
any criticism, please set it aside for a time, pray about it, and then edit
it carefully. Flaming (barbed comments or put- downs) is not welcome.
Revival-Fire Discussion Conference is for discussion of revival.
Prolonged posting of messages which are not relevant to this list is not
welcome. Violation of these expectat- ions may result in expulsion from the
group. If you see someone violating these expect- ations, the best thing
you can do is not respond publicly to their messages, as public re- sponses
will only lead the list further away from discussion of revival. Instead,
please let the list admin (JMGreen@xc.org) know of your concerns.
Appropriate action, as needed, will be carried out privately by the list
administrator.
HOW TO JOIN:
