Memories of Gold
The years have quickly passed in front of you and me
I am very grateful for the friend in you I see
Although we will defiantly see each other someday
I just wanted to take the time to say
Thank you for being there
When my heart was about to tear
The times I told you things no one else knew
When I didn’t know what to do
You prayed faithfully for me week after week
I prayed for you while you tried to find and seek
You’ve been like a sister in many ways
Teaching me that life is really a true maze
I am thankful for all your patience and care
You always are extremely just and fair
Always willing to listen and wait
Bringing forth love and not hate
I pray that you keep theses qualities alive forever
Remembering that God thinks life is a treasure
Don’t worry about tomorrow today
Let it bring what it may
In His perfect timing your future will unfold
In His Holy word is where that is told
