Finnsheep make wonderful 4-H projects for kids of all ages. Not only do they
learn good animal husbandry skills and techniques, but raising lambs helps
to teach them responsibility and proper business skills. Crossed on Dorset or fast growing black-faced rams, Finn ewes produce outstanding club lambs. F1 Finn cross ewes bred back to Dorset rams produces an increase in carcass quality and growth rate for club lambs as well as make outstanding breeding stock. Raising Finnsheep is great fun for the entire family!
