December, 1999

December was a busy month for us all. Work on the One-Act Plays
continued, and we changed the play from "The Chairs" to "The Bald Soprano"
and I play the part of Mrs. Martin. School was out for the last two
weeks in December so the Christmas preparations could commence. Christmas
went well. We went to our cousin's for Christmas Eve, my grandma's
for Christmas, and the day after Christmas (or Boxing Day) we had the regular
family get-together with my mom's side. Overall it was a great holiday
and I got some nice things! The week leading up to the New Year was
relaxing....
November, 1999

November is a smooth-running month. Nothing too major has happened.
I am starting another job doing filing and odd-jobs which will be cash-in-hand
*shh, don't tell!* I also got a part in the One-Act plays and I play
a crazy old woman in Eugene Ionesco's "The Chairs". (More on this
later!) It is to be performed in late January and I already can't
wait! Unfortunately, I've been battling a cold-type thing for over
a week and it just won't go away! Thanksgiving will be spent at our
cousin's house this year. My great aunt was hit by a car and badly
injured so she cannot host it. Other than that, Nov. is simply a
month of smooth-sailing. I feel like I'm not doing much in my classes.
The Holiday season is coming soon...so l@@k out!
October, 1999

October has been a quick month full of activity! The two week
quarter break for school occured for the first two weeks which enabled
us to take a 7-day Cruise on the Carnival Elation to the Mexican Riviera.
It was indeed one of the best weeks I've ever had. There is so much
to do there..from 24-hour food to swimming, exercise, going to lounges
or clubs, watching movies, or just relax! We went to Puerto Vallarta,
Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas and saw some interesting things while there!
I went on a snorkeling tour in Cabo and it was great! Then we partied
on the boat and by the end they had everybody dancing (and tipsy, hehe).
I got to be in a "Battle of the Sexes" game show (the guys won BOO!) and
be in a chorus line. My favorite place to go by the end of the week
was the piano bar. The piano man, Barry, was excellent and we had
a small family in there at the end of the week..too bad I didn't discover
it sooner! I have the best Charlie Brown dance of them all!
The food and shows were good, and it was great to dress up on two formal
nights and be catered to by a staff from all over the world. Our
Cabin Steward, Carter (from Jamaica), was the greatest! He made us
animals out of towels and they were so cute! *Except for the heart-shaped
bed pan...but we won't go there.*L* It was so awesome and I can't wait
until the next one in March, but this one will be hard to beat! Other
than that, everything else is running smoothly as normal. No big
plans for Halloween. (Except to go out and cause a *little* mischief..who
knows! hehe) So all in all, it was great to take a break this month, and
November should run along smoothly. I'm just counting down the months
until graduation! Happy Halloween!
September, 1999

September is a month full of surprises. I got a job lifeguarding
at the Woodbridge Country Club for the month of Sept. It is one of
the easiest jobs in the world! *At this time of year anyway.*
We had a visitor from Scotland, Steve, come and stay with us for a few
days and it was loads of fun. After that, Kristi's friend Sean came
to stay with us for 10 days. I attended an awesome bday party and
went to the Grape Festival, our town's main event. I got to see some
of my friends be hypnotized and it was quite an event! Then I went
on a cruise-tour down the Sacramento River and the first hour of it was
like a free karaoke for my family and I on top of the boat. It was
so much fun! Then I get to emcee for our school's talent show which
I am partly in charge of. The theme is "Woodstock" and I get to play
a hippie. So all in all, September is and has been a busy, jam-packed,
fun-filled month!

August, 1999

Well, school started up for me on August 3rd and I have a pretty
easy schedule! English, Spanish 4, ROP-(taking computer office off
campus), a TA for a Spanish class, and Drama! My Lifeguarding job
is wearing down and I will soon have to search for another one so I can
afford all my expenses this year! We have and will be having visitors
throughout the year from LA, Scotland, and England, so that will keep us
busy! There is also a cruise to Mexico coming up in October to celebrate
both of my grandparents' 50th anniversaries. (There's two cruises!)
Other than that, my days seem pretty simple and routine. That should
do it for now, check back for more updates (if you even care) for "wassup
with me!"
