Jennifer Aniston was born Feb. 11, 1969 in Sherman Oaks, CA to Nancy and John Aniston. Her mother was a model and her father was a soap opera actor. When she was about 5 years old, she moved to Greece with her family. She stayed there about a year, until her family relocated to New York City, when her father got a part on the soap, "Love of Life". Her parents got divorced when she was 9 years old, and she lived with her mom.
Jennifer says she always wanted to be an actress. She attended high scool at New York's High School of the Performing Arts(the FameSchool)After high school, she moved to LA with dreams of becoming a star.
She moved to LA in around 1990, and became hanging out with other struggling actors, includingd Matthew Perry, her future Firends costar. She small parts in many short live tv shows(such as Ferris Bueller) and the horror flick, Leprchaun. Finally, an agent gave her some advice:Lose weight. She did, she eventually lost 30 pounds. That was when she recived the audition for Friends She was originally asked to try out for the role of Monica, but she refused, saying she felt more of a connection with Rachel. She tried out for Rachel, and landed the part.
So, after Friendsmade Aniston's Hair a star(and I guess Jennifer, too), she started making movies. Her films released so far include: She's The One, Til There Was You, and Picture Perfect(which was her first starring role).
Now, she is romantically linked with actor Tate Donavan. Her future plans include starring in the movie, "Object of my Affection", in which she plays a pregnant woman.
