Lisa Kudrow was born July 30, 1963, in Encino, California. Her father ia a famous headache specialist. Lisa earnred good grades in school, and graduated from Vassar College, with a B.S. in biology. She intended to work with her father.
Family friend Jon Lovitz changed her mind. He suggested that Lisa try being a comedian, because she was so funny. Lisa agreed, and also tried acting as well. She appeared in many tv shows such as : Mad About You(which she is still on, as Ursula, Phoebe's twin), Bob, Cheers, and Coach. But her big break came in 1994, when she recieved the part of Phoebe Buffay, on Friends.
Lisa is now one of the most popular charecters on friends. She was nominated for an Emmy for her role as Phoebe(she lost). :(
Lisa was also the first Friend to get married. She married French ad exec Michele Stern in 1995, and they are now expecting their first child. Lisa's pregancy will be worked into the show's plot, rather then trying to hide it, like some other shows have done(for example Heather Locklear, Melrose Place)
Besides Friends, Lisa can be seen in the feature films Mother and Romy and Michele's High School Reunion.
